When we started this project we decided to use Blender to build 3D models and PureData to create the game.
However whilst learning Blender I found 3DS Max quicker to learn and easier to use.
I switched to 3DS Max to create landscapes and characters for the game.
These are some preliminary rooms I built for the first and final stages of the game.
Due to time constraints and learning new software we also downscaled from PD to Director (a software we used last year.)
3DS Max and Adobe Director were the main programs used to create the game.
These are the characters I created for the game. The user interacts with these characters to progress through the story. Most of them were created using Make Human software and editing in 3DS Max.
The locations were created by creating backgrounds and layering 3D objects built separately in Photoshop. This was so interactive objects in the game could be given individual commands when loaded into the game building software Director.
